1994 *Simeon Sodee #0514881
(*Simeon Sadik x Simeon Shannah by *Imperial Madaar)
*Simeon Sodee is a black/bay mare who was bred by Marion Richmond at the world renowned Simeon Stud and Imported from Australia in 1995. I purchased her in 2006 as my foundation mare from Richard DeWalt, Illusion Arabians. *Simeon Sodee is as far as I know the only daughter of *Simeon Sadik in the US and brings rare bloodlines, much needed as an outcross in the United States including that of *Asfour.
Sodee is a mare of the finest quality, type, good conformation, good straight legs, wonderful sweet temperament, and on top of that an outstanding producer of amazing foals, passing on quality, type, size, good conformation, balance, beautiful heads, and sweet temperaments.

*Simeon Sodee's pedigree is exquisite and includes many legends. She is about 97% Egyptian with her female line to Simeon Shannah, Simeon Shiril, Simeon Sharon and her tail female line back to Dahma a bay 1876 mare (Blunt).

is the one and only, ultimate, amazing, Straight Egyptian, black, most talked about stallion, described by many respectable breeders to be one of the finest, most beautiful, correct stallions in the world. * Simeon Sadik is arguably the worlds best, most beautiful black stallion, and in my mind the ideal, epitome of what a Arabian stallion should be.
*Simeon Sadik was bred by Simeon Stud in Australia then sold to Mr. & Mrs. Charlie Watts of England.
His show record includes 1995 Australian East Coast Champion Stallion, 1996 World Reserve Champion Stallion, 1996 U.K. International Champion Stallion, and 2000 All Nations Cup Reserve Champion Stallion. Sire of champions around the world including HS Ramira (out of Rihahna) who was 2002 World junior reserve champion female and the 2005 Aachen top five yearling fillies Maya Des Alpes (out of E.A.M.T. Marihuana) plus many more.

Sadik's sire the grey *Asfour ( Malik x Hanan) video being imported from Germany he has had a huge influence in Australia and New Zealand's breeding and showing, as well as around the world. The Great *Asfour is known by many as the "origin of beauty", for his surreal movement and his amazing ability's as a sire.
Sadik's dam the grey Simeon Safanad ( Sankt Georg x 27 Ibn Galal) also has winning progeny in the Middle East, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. Simeon Safanads first foal, *Simeon Shai,  a champion in Australia, set a world record for an Arabian Stallion in Halter, in 1991 he won the U.S.A., Canadian and Scottsdale Championships as well as The World Champion at the prestige Salon De Cheval, in Paris, France. *Simeon Shai is now owned by Silver Maple Farm.

Shannah has been a wonderful producer of champions in both halter and endurance for Simeon Stud, her full brother Simeon Sadir is 1995  & 1998 New Zealand National Champion, World Endurance Championships Qualifier 2000 (France) & FEI/UAE World Cup Endurance 2001.
Sodee's 3/4th brother's *Simeon Sakeen (Asfour x Simeon Shannah) who was exported to Qatar has done a wonderful job being used on Polish bred Arabians to give even more " type". Simeon Saban (Asfour x Simeon Sahannah) was Reserve Championship at the Australian Nationals.

Shannah
's sire *Imperial Madaar ( Imperial Madheen x Ansata Nile Mist) is a Australian Champion Stallion and winner of major shows in Australia and sire of many champions. He stands barefoot at 15.2 h.h. and is an extremely kind and gentle stallion with great hip and neck length and excellent legs.
Shannah's dam  Simeon Shirli represents the original foundation dam-line at Simeon Stud, the only two non-straight Egyptian mares retained for the Studs breeding program when the focus changed to breeding Straight Egyptians. Simeon Shirli is also the dam of Simeon Sanegor (imported in to the US went National Top Ten).
Simeon Shrili has been one of the most influential broodmares in Australia to date. An outstanding producer, her progeny reside all over the world.

Sodee has had seven offspring, three colt's and four filly's of those two have been shown to date and have done very well, including Beaudika IA the 2006 Cal-Bred Futurity & Pacific Slope Championship, Reserve Champion Mare AOTH Maturity.
So far Sodee has crossed very nicely with the bloodlines of Padron though her 2007 filly Tayla IA by Magnum Psyche, her first colt a 15.3h by Padron Psyche, a colt by Psymadre, (Aladdinn & Bask lines), a colt and filly by Mostly Padron , she also has crossed well with Bey Shah lines though NV Beau Bay.
I'm extremely exited to see what she will produce when breed to Straight Egyptian stallions, with this goal Sodee has had the best foal to date the 2008 black/grey filly, Sired by the straight Egyptian stallion *HS Hero by *Simeon Sadik.

2008 Black/grey Filly Martin Al Sodika ( pending)*HS Hero X *Simeon Sodee

We are very pleased with the results of breeding Sodee to Hero and are very exiting to have bred a filly so rare, being the only horse linebred to the amazing black Simeon Sadik in this country . We are confident she will grow to be a wonderful broodmare with her amazing bloodlines, good conformation, type, short head, large expressive eyes set far apart, small muzzle, courage, loving disposition & prepotent blood.

More to come on this filly.
